1. 10Calc
Most calculator apps don’t do it all. 10Calc does. What do I mean by that? Well, many calculator apps just handle equations. 10Calc does all that, but it also has built in unit converter algorithms so you can use one app for all your calculation needs. A nice plus is the theme customization and the ability to convert over 100 units of measurement.
2. Manga Blaze
This app was made for fans of comic books and Manga specifically you need to check out Manga Blaze. It’s a comic book reader for your Windows Phone that gives you access to manga from over 17 sources. The app keeps track of what you read and what page you’re on so you’re ready to pick up where you left off as soon as you open it. It also features offline viewing so you can read even when you don’t have an Internet connection.
3. Flightradar24
This smart app, the Flightradar24 is an app that has been around on Android and iOS for a while and now it finally comes to Windows Phone. With it you can track flights in real time and see exactly where they are on a map. It’s also got an amazing Augmented Reality View that identifies the planes flying overhead by simply pointing your phone’s camera to the sky.
4. Mirror Cam
Mirror Cam is a creative camera app that allows you to create mirrored images with just a few taps. This gives the impression that the subject of your shots are reflected in a poll of water or it just allows you to creates surreal snaps too. There’s also a host of additional filters you can apply.
5. Slack
This is specifically for the business world. The Slack is the communication tool that has taken the business world by storm. It’s an instant messaging platform that allows teams to keep in communication, share ideas, and generally get things done much quicker than my communicating through standard email. Right now Slack for Windows Phone is in beta, but for those that can’t wait for the final version, it’s worth checking out this app now.
6. Caledos Runner
With Caledos you can track your route on a map, track your calories burned, and track other elements like time, pace, speed, position, heart rate, and climb. The app also works with run keeper, so you can share your progress with your friends there. A nice feature are the big, easy to use read stats, so you can quickly pinpoint the one you’re looking for.
