From the schematics and leaked images of the iPhone 7, it looks like the next iPhone won’t be exciting. It would basically be a rehearsed iPhone 6S without the headphone jack. Some industry experts believe Apple is keeping its major re-design for the iPhone 8 in 2017.
Edge-to-edge OLED, glass body and removal of the Home button are among the radical changes that may happen on the iPhone 8. While I have no idea if any these things will become a reality, what I do know that is that Apple’s mobile future is falling apart.

Vendors like Oppo, Xiaomi and Huawei have recorded impressive performance while sales of iPhone suffers.Gartner’s report shows the three major Chinese brands Huawei, Oppo and Xiaomi upped their market-share in the first quarter of 2016 with 8.3%, 4.6%, and 4.3% respectively.
Apple saw its first ever double-digit year-over-year decline indicating that things are no longer rosy in the world’s biggest smartphone market.One can deduce that the availability of cheap 4G smartphones from these Chinese mobile vendors could be the reason why users are changing camps.

Apple may have to review its pricing template and stop forcing users to purchase overpriced phones.
